We invite you to take a moment to click the link and read the essays submitted by each of our scholarship awardees. Each essay was thoughtfully reviewed and selected by the individual scholarship donors themselves.

Renner Academy is offering scholarship programs for families who are either enrolled or in the process of enrollment. The scholarships are in honor of individuals, families, or businesses/organizations that believe in the work that Renner Academy does. If you are interested in providing a scholarship in honor of an individual, family, or business/organization please compete the Renner Academy Scholarship Opportunity form found HERE.

To apply for the scholarship, the parent(s)/guardian(s) and/or the child must complete an essay of at least 300 words but no more than 1,000 words. The essay should focus on how the child and/or family have overcome challenges that they faced due to having a learning difference.

Families have the option to choose the scholarship that best fits their unique situation and complete the application form. Families can apply for one or multiple scholarships.

The William Rushing Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of William Rushing. He was a renowned professional artist and was a commissioned Kentucky colonel for his contribution in western art. William Rushing showed in numerous prestigious, invitational art shows around the country and was featured in galleries in the United States and Canada. He had a love of art that he wanted to share, often teaching kids art classes free of charge. He believed that you could achieve your dreams by believing in yourself, your talent, working hard, and never giving up.

The Fealy Scholarship

This scholarship is in recognition of neurodiverse children that not only struggle with language based learning differences but also other learning differences such as Dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD. The Fealy family believes that every child deserves to thrive in their learning environment. They have witnessed the difference a tailored education offers when children are met where they are in their learning journey and given the space to flourish. The Fealy family thanks Renner Academy for the difference it is making in neurodiverse children's lives.
