History

Recognizing the urgent need for a specialized learning environment for students with learning differences, Kristen Renner founded a school dedicated to children with dyslexia and related challenges during the 2020-2021 school year. What began as Happy Camper School in Fall 2020, serving kindergarten through 4th grade, has since evolved into Renner Academy, now supporting students in grades K-8.

Building on this success, Renner Secondary Academy was established in 2025 to extend this transformative education to students in grades 9-12.
