Scholarship Opportunities
Renner Academy is offering scholarship programs for families who are either enrolled or in the process of enrollment. The scholarships are in honor of individuals, families, or businesses/organizations that believe in the work that Renner Academy does. If you are interested in providing a scholarship in honor of an individual, family, or business/organization please compete the Renner Academy Scholarship Opportunity form found HERE.
To apply for the scholarship, the parent(s)/guardian(s) and/or the child must complete an essay of at least 300 words but no more than 1,000 words. The essay should focus on how the child and/or family have overcome challenges that they faced due to dyslexia or other language-based learning differences.
Families have the option to choose the scholarship that best fits their unique situation and complete the application form. Families can apply for one or multiple scholarships.
The 2024-2025 Renner Academy Scholarship Opportunities form will be open for submissions on April 22, 2024. Check back for the link.
The William Rushing Scholarship
This scholarship is in memory of William Rushing. He was a renowned professional artist and was a commissioned Kentucky colonel for his contribution in western art. William Rushing showed in numerous prestigious, invitational art shows around the country and was featured in galleries in the United States and Canada. He had a love of art that he wanted to share, often teaching kids art classes free of charge. He believed that you could achieve your dreams by believing in yourself, your talent, working hard, and never giving up.
